Dubai, UAE – The 20-time Grand Slam Champion Roger Federer (2) defeated the high rising Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas (5) in the Dubai Tennis Championship to claim his 100th career singles title.

The 37-year-old Swiss legend took just 69 minutes to defeat Tsitsipas in straight sets 6-4 6-4 to claim his 8th Dubai Tennis Championships.

With the win, Federer became the second player to claim 100 singles title after American Jimmy Connors who reached the landmark in 1983 and is currently the leader with 109 titles to his name.

At the age of 19, Roger Federer won his first singles title in 2001 defeating Frenchmen Julien Boutter in three-set battle 6-4 6-7 6-4 in the Milan Indoor Final.
