Zinedine Zidane has officially returned to the Santiago Bernabeu as the Manager after the club sacked Santiago Solari. The Frenchmen who left the club just 10 months after he said “I would stay but as you don’t want to follow my lead, I better go”.
In his first presentation as the manager of the club, he went to win the Champions Leagues in a row and a Spanish league title. Zidane’s return to the club marks the third change for Real Madrid in the season after Julen Lopetegui, who lasted until 29 October, and Santiago Solari, who witnessed the worst six days of the club between 27th February to 5th March.
First Real Madrid was knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Barcelona at Bernabeu, then they lost to Barca in the league game and suffered humiliation after eliminated from the Champions League with the devastating 4-1 loss against AFC Ajax in the 2nd leg game led to a 5-3 loss on aggregate.
The club’s President Florentino Perez has promised the Frenchmen that he is open to making big decisions for the club to get on the winning track for the next season as this season the club has no winning opportunities.
The upcoming big decisions would be bringing the PSG and French National Team player Kylian Mbappe or Chelsea and Belgium National Team player Eden Hazard to the club. Gareth Bale who is currently struggling and could be the one leaving the club this summer.
