Florida, United States – Three goals in the first half helps England beat Japan to win the SheBelieves Cup 2019 in the game played at the Raymond James Stadium.

Game Summary:

Lucy Staniforth scored the opening goal in the 12th minute of the game. Karen Carney doubled the lead for England in the 23rd minute and Beth Mead extending the Lionesses’ lead to 3-0 in the 30th minute of the game.

Japan stood strong at the defense in the second half not allowing a single goal but failed to capitalise a single goal in their favour as England trashed Japan in the final game of the Tournament and win it.

England winning the SheBelieves Cup makes them a strong contender to win the Women’s World Cup 2019 which will be held in France along with the United States, Brazil, France and Germany.
