England won the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 defeating England in the EPIC Final at the historic Lord’s in London after the tied match went to a Super Over and England were awarded the win on the boundary count.

England reached the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup for the first time since 1992 and won the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup in their fourth final.

England has now defeated New Zealand in all four ICC matches played since 2015.

New Zealand reached the final for the second time in a row. In 2015, Australia defeated New Zealand in the final to win the fifth championship.

New Zealand and England have met ten times in the World Cup now out of which New Zealand has won five times (1983, 1992, 1996, 2007, 2015) and England have won five times (1975, 1979, 1983, and twice in 2019).
